A sweet Summer day in Northern Minnesota

The temps are just out of control here this week. However, yesterday I spent the day on Lake Superior with some great company. While the rest of the world broiled we were hanging on water that was in the high 50's, almost chilly. We paddled past the Pallisade Head, Shovel Point and all the sweet arches and terrain in between. I was with a bunch of cool people. Scott Nuestel and Sam Cook took the time to organize the paddle and I thank them. On the return I realized that if I hurried I could meet Marg at the Tuesday night ride at Mont Du and did just that, then joined Sherri Nelson and Dave and Kate Stenjem (Sp?) for dinner at the Wobegon!
Could be the best day of the summer I have had so far!
